Our Cape Town branch is a satellite clinic that operates three days a week and is run by a Specialist Nurse, trained by Dr Elliot Shevel: Chairman of the Headache Society of Southern Africa. All our investigations have been designed by a team of specialist's to ensure that we find the exact cause of your headaches. Our head office is in Johannesburg and controls all bookings for the Cape Town Clinic.

Consultation and neurological examination with general practitioner for the purpose of excluding any life threatening illnesses.

X-rays where medically indicated (C-spine, Sinus, TMJ, Pan, Ceph)

Unlimited consultations with Migraine Specialist Dr Elliot
Shevel where necessary (who is based in Johannesburg and travels once a month to Cape Town.)

What is NOT included in the Complete Diagnosis™ ?
How does payment for Complete Diagnosis™ work?
- The diagnosis fee must be paid to us directly and claimed back from your medical aid if you have one.
- You can use your medical aid to cover the cost of x-rays at diagnosis.
- You can pay in cash, with a credit /debit card or with a bank guaranteed cheque.
What about Medical Aid?
- Except for x-rays, The Headache Clinic will NOT accept medical aid for the payment for Complete Diagnosis™. X-rays CAN be claimed from the medical aid.
- Once we have made a Complete Diagnosis™, we can contact your medical aid and confirm benefits to help you make an informed treatment decision.
- The Headache Clinic will not deal with Discovery Health.
